Poonyth & Co. was founded in 1985 by Dev Poonyth and has developed into a leading practice providing business and tax advisory services to small and medium enterprises. Our client base has expanded rapidly over the past few years, mainly by recommendation from existing clients, and covers a wide variety of sectors.

Poonyth & Co. has the knowledge, skills and experience to help you manage your enterprise/business more efficiently and enhance your wealth. Our staff comprise of experienced, trusted and dedicated professionals. The Directors and Manager are fellows of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK) and their experiences to date cover a variety of business, financial, tax and consultancy assignments.

Poonyth

The founder of Poonyth & Co., is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA) with a post-graduate diploma in Business Administration from the University of Aston in Birmingham and a member of the Mauritius Institute of Professional Accountants (MIPA). He is the Managing Director of Poonyth & Co. and responsible for Tax issues and Tax Planning to minimise the tax payable. He also helps clients to effectively manage their finance through intelligent analysis and understanding of financial matters.

Mrs. Vejita
Goorimoorthee

She is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Mauritius and also a member of the Mauritius Institute of Professional Accountants (MIPA). She is a Director of Poonyth & Co. and has more than 25 years’ experience with the firm. She is responsible for Financial Reporting and Project Management.

Mrs. Shahinah
Jhugroo-Lotun

She is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) with an Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business and also a member of the Mauritius Institute of Professional Accountants (MIPA). She is Manager at Poonyth & Co. and has more than 20 years’ experience with the firm. She is responsible for Payroll Administration and Management.
